Strengths: Can think clearly in almost any situation. Is very good at spell-casting.


Weaknesses: Has a hard time opening up to people that he's not close to. It takes a while for him to really trust someone.

Personality: Aidan may seem a bit stiff when you first meet him, but if you get him to open up, he can be a nice guy. He just has a hard time trusting people. The only ones he'll really open up to are his children, which he prizes above all else. He'd do anything for them and is determined not to loose them like he lost his wife. He likes things to be orderly, so any disruption in his class will earn you a stern look and some scolding. But he can be understanding if someone comes to him just to talk or unload a problem. He's normally quiet, but somebody says something that he really disagrees with, he'll call them out on it and won't stop until he's had the last word, which can make him a bit annoying during any kind of debate.

Biography: Aidan was once married, and he was happy. But that changed 11 years ago, when his wife was killed. Some Death Eaters were attacking muggle-born wizards, and when his wife tried to defend them, she was killed along with them. Her death broke Aidan for a long time, but he's moved on since, sort of. He doesn't let the sadness of his loss consume him, but he's had a hard time trusting people ever since the tragedy, for fear that he might lose them. He sees his wife in his children, Lena and Seth. Lena has her beauty while Seth seems to have adopted her mannerisms. He's not pained by that though. He's proud that his wife lives on his children. He used to work at the Ministry for a while, but he's decided to do something different this year, and has decided to take up the post of Transfiguration Teacher at Hogwarts.

Anything Extra to Add?: Aidan's pretty talented when it comes to the violin. He often plays it when he's feeling anxious or when his mind is too active for his liking.
